Welcome to the website of the 317th Engineer Battalion Alumni Association. We are dedicated to keeping alive the memory of the 317th Engineer Battalion that was based at Camp Eschborn , Eschborn Germany until the closing of the Camp in 1992 and the unit was split and relocated to Fort Benning and Fort Stewart Georgia. The unit was officially deactivated in 2004 and now it is up to us to keep one of the best Combat Mechanized Engineer units of the United States Army from becoming a faded memory. If you served with the unit, we salute you and hope you will assist us with keeping this great unit alive.
