Clyde actually served 20 years, and I and 1SG McGurk ensured that he made it to retirement. I will always remember him on Christmas day, while deployed in Saudi Arabia, walking around with a turkey leg in each of his cargo pockets, like he was wearing six-guns. Good memories!

Clyde was a good friend. There were times when I found his disposition aggravating, but he was always there. I served with him in Germany, Desert Storm, and at Ft Benning. Rest in Peace, old friend.
